Occludin was mainly localized to cytoplasm and epithelial tight junctions in the ileum from control mice. The burn-induced reorganization of occludin was attenuated in the ileum from burned mice treated with ML-9. Data are representative of five independent experiments. Scale bar = 10 µm.
