BSA-AP, BSA-aminophenol
succinylation of WGA (sWGA) reduces it’s affinity for Sialic Acid. Notably, it also reduces the affinity of sWGA for GlcNAc residues. As such, typically one use WGA for purification and sWGA for immunoblotting.
