CoC data are collected for geographic units established by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to track resource use for homeless populations. The 7 CoC metropolitan areas included in this analysis are Columbus, Ohio; Denver, Colorado; Lansing, Michigan; New York, New York; Phoenix, Arizona; San Jose, California; and Tampa, Florida.
