ROS production induced by cholesterol was prevented by the inhibition of mitochondrial respiration complex I. A, Mitochondria isolated from Hepa1c1c7 cells were incubated with cholesterol (10 μm) bound to BSA in the presence or absence of rotenone (10 nm) for 5 min as noted.
