The neurotoxicities of Aβ42_wt and Aβ42_D7H were estimated by the MTT assay. SH-SY5Y cells were treated with Aβ42_wt or Aβ42_D7H at a final concentration of 0, 5, or 10 μM for 48 h. Cell survival was determined by normalizing OD570 readings to those of cells not treated with Aβ42 (set as 1) in 3 independent experiments (n = 8 per experiment) and is presented as mean ± SEM. ***P<0.001, **P<0.01 vs. Aβ42_wt by ANOVA.
