Two-dimensional SDS-PAGE of VTVs. The VTV proteins (300 μg) labeled with Cy5 dye were solubilized in 2D-gel buffer (see Methods). Isoelectric focusing was carried out using a total of 50,500 volt-hours. Post-isoelectric focusing, proteins were first equilibrated (see Methods) and then separated by 8–18% SDS-PAGE. Gel was scanned immediately using Typhoon TRIO (GE Healthcare).
