Figure 7

A 72-year-old woman with metastatic breast cancer to the heart. Note the location of the metastatic nodules in the right heart chambers, the infiltration through the right ventricular free wall, the pericardial effusion and the pericardial metastasis. Any infiltrative appearing cardiac mass involving the right heart chambers in the presence of a pericardial effusion should be considered suspicious for malignancy.
