Table 1.

Observed and the UVSD model's predicted mixed zROC slopes

zROC slope t

Data ss Observed Predicted Observed vs. Predicted
K&Y 32 0.75a 0.74 0.99
(0.21) (0.21) p = .33
Exp 1 22 0.68 0.68 0.38
(0.16) (0.17) p = .70
Exp 2 17 0.75 0.73 1.31
(0.10) (0.14) p = .21
Jang et al. (2011) 35 0.68 0.68 0.36
(0.14) (0.13) p = .72

Note. Mean values of the zROC slopes across individuals are on the upper row for each data set; Standard deviations are in parentheses; K&Y = Koen and Yonelinas (2010); Exp = experiment; ss = number of subjects.

a

K&Y reported the mean of 0.74 (p. 1539), but our reanalysis of their data yielded the mean of 0.75.
