^aCells of A. mimigardefordensis strain SHX22 were first incubated in modified MS medium with 2 g/liter NH₄Cl, 10 g/liter glycerol, and 0.4 g/liter yeast extract. After the optical density indicated that the early stationary phase (OD₆₀₀ of approximately 4.3) had been reached, cells were collected and transferred into the same medium supplied with different concentrations of glycerol (10, 20, 30, 40, and 60 g/liter) and 6 g/liter DTDP as a precursor. After 4 days of incubation, CDW, OD₆₀₀, and supernatant of the final cultures were also measured.
