Growth curves of recombinant E. coli DH5α harboring the pGETS109-pha series plasmids. Cells were cultivated in LB medium containing glucose (20 g/liter) at 30°C for 72 h with shaking at 130 rpm. Cultivation for each strain was carried out in triplicate, and the average value for samples taken at each time point is shown. The error was less than 8% per sample.
