MHC Class II −/− or +/+ mice were infected with MHV-68 and treated with anti-CD40 or control antibody as described in the legend to Table 1. BAL and spleen cells harvested 60 days after infection were tested for virus-specific CTL activity in a chromium release assay using MHV-68-infected MEF-1 cells as targets. Data are expressed as mean percent specific lysis ± SD, for the effector to target (E∶T) ratios specified. n, number of mice tested.
