The nonselective ADO receptor antagonist, 8-SPT (10−4 M), blocks the ADO-induced decrease in PsPSA of porcine coronary arterioles. Means ± SE of ratio of Ps in response to ADO in the presence of 8-SPT (basal) or ADO is over doses from 10−9 to 10−5 M relative to the absence of either compound (n = 5–10 for ADO in the presence of 10−4 M 8-SPT).
