Chemotaxis response of wild-type and mutant H. pylori to HCl and synthetic DPD. A wet-mount chemotaxis assay (illustrated in A) was used to analyse chemotatic behaviour of mG27 wild-type and the indicated isogenic mutant strains in response to mock DPD, the known chemorepellent 0.1 M HCl, and 0.1 mM synthetic DPD.
