Tip induces transcriptional activation of STAT6. Jurkat T-cells were electroporated with plasmids encoding Tip, STAT6 and 3×STAT6-luc plasmid and cultured in the presence (grey) or absence (white) of IL-4 (20 ng ml⁻¹) for 18 h. To normalize transfection efficiency, pGK-βgal vector was included in the transfection mixture and fold induction of luciferase activity was determined after normalization with β-galactosidase activity.
