Myocarditis (A) and cardiac virus titers (B) in CVB3 infected mice. Male mice were infected with 100 PFU CVB3 and killed 7 days later. Hearts were removed and either evaluated for myocarditis by image analysis or for virus titers by plaque forming assay. Results represent mean ± SEM of 6 to 12 animals/group. * Significantly different than C57Bl/6 group at p<0.05.
