A model for Fyn association with the NMDA receptor/PSD-95 complex. The NMDA receptor is represented as a tetramer of NR1 and NR2 subunits. NR2 subunit C-terminal tails interact with PDZ2 of PSD-95. Fyn binds to PDZ3 of PSD-95 possibly via its SH2 domain. Fyn also is associated with the membrane via its myristoylated N terminus. N-terminal palmitoylation of PSD-95 is not shown.
