Brain sections used in Figure 4 were also stained with hematoxylin for nuclei, ED1, and TRAIL, and pictured as in Figure 4. The 1^st and 2^nd columns show the low and high power fields of ED1 stain, respectively; the 3^rd and 4^th columns show the low and high power fields of TRAIL stain. Cells stained with ED1 or TRAIL show dark brown. The scale bars indicate 100 μm in low power field and 50 μm in high power field.
