Treatment schema. Radiation therapy was started after 5 days of celecoxib. Cisplatin and irinotecan were administered once a week for 7 weeks (weeks 2–8). Celecoxib was given orally beginning 5 days before the initiation of chemoradiation therapy; the same dose was continued daily throughout the entire 8-week course of chemoradiation therapy and for four more weeks thereafter (through week 12).
