Hs578T cells were seeded in six-well plates at 0.1 × 106 cells in GM followed by 24 h in SFM prior to pre-dosing for 24 h (A) with IGFBP-3 (100 ng/ml), (B) SPD (10 ng/ml) or (C) IGFBP-3 ± fumonisin B1 (1 μM). Cells were then re-dosed for 24 h ± an apoptotic dose of C2-ceramide (A,B) or antimycin A (C). The graphs represent changes in cell death and show the mean ± SEM of three experiments each repeated in triplicate.
