Significantly less proMMP2 and activeMMP2 activity with knock down of JNK1 (p<0.0001 and p=0.0014, respectively) or JNK2 (p=0.0003 and p=0.0019, respectively). All MMP activity is eliminated with knock down of both JNK1 and 2 simultaneously. A decrease in JNK1 and JNK2 protein in the cells is demonstrated by Western blot.
