Sample confocal images of two axonal bundles of (A) Control (UAS-DCR2/+; Elav-Gal4/+) and (B) Cdc37 RNAi (UAS-DCR2/+; UAS-Cdc37 RNAi/+; Elav-Gal4/+) third instar larvae stained for the presynaptic active zone protein Brp (red) and the neuronal membranes with HRP (blue). BRP intensity per axon area was quantified for both of the genotypes and normalized to control in C; n=10 for both genotypes, **p<0.001; error bars represent SEM.
