The reduction of tPA mRNA produced by PDE4D siRNA was mediated by Epac1 pathway. HBECs were transfected with PDE4D siRNAs and co-transfected with Epac1 siRNAfor 48 hours. PDE4D siRNA transfection alone showed significant reduction of tPA mRNA while PDE4D and Epac1 siRNA co-transfection showed no significant change of tPA mRNA.
