Oral fat tolerance tests were performed as described in Materials and Methods with HFD-fed hadh^+/+ and hadh^−/− mice that were kept at 20 C (A) or acutely put to 4 C (B). Mice that were fasted overnight, received an oral olive oil bolus, and concentrations of plasma triglycerides (upper panels) and free fatty acids (lower panels) were detected at the indicated time points.
