Effects of microdialysis administration of drugs that block nociceptive synaptic transmission into the sacral spinal cord on responses of gracile neurons (n = 10) to graded intensities of CRD. The drugs included morphine and CNQX (6-cyano-7-nitroquinoxaline-2,3-dione). Naloxone was given systemically to reverse the action of morphine.
