Twenty avulsion fractures of the calcaneal tuberosity were investigated out of 764 calcaneal fractures (2.6%).

*This parameter was recorded and included both the average age of the patients and the range of age. p = 0.010 and p = 0.018 comparing type I with all other avulsion fracture types.
