In the conditions with object property cues, the test objects were grouped as shown; all shape matches on one side, all other items on the other. In the congruent condition the experimenter’s eye gaze was directed to the shape-matching group, whereas in the incongruent condition the experimenter’s eye gaze was directed to the opposite side of the table.
