Everolimus treatment enhances the interaction of K-Ras and c-Raf. (A) The K-Ras wt BxPC-3 and K-Ras mt PANC-1 were treated with everolimus in a series of dilutions and examined by western blotting for the unphosphorylated and phosphorylated (p-) proteins in the Raf-ERK and mTORC1 pathways. (B) The everolimus treated and untreated K-Ras mt PANC-1 cells were immunoprecipitated using c-Raf antibody and then examined by western blotting using K-Ras and c-Raf antibody for the interaction of K-Ras and c-Raf proteins. (C) The K-Ras wt BxPC-3 and Hs766T and K-Ras mt PANC-1 and Capan-2 cell lines were treated with everolimus and examined by western blotting using p-Akt and Akt antibodies.
