Cu affects PAA2 stability. Top panel, immunoblot of PAA2 in wild-type (Col-0) plants grown in liquid half-strength MS in the presence of 0.05 μm CuSO₄ and 5 μm CuSO₄. 10-day-old plants were treated with 100 μm CHX for the indicated times. Shown are two biological replicates for each time point. To compensate for the reduced abundance of PAA2 in the presence of 5 μm CuSO₄, twice the amount of protein extract was loaded in each lane for these samples. Results are representative of four separate biological replicates. Quantification of band intensities represent an average of four replicates ± S.D. * indicates a nonspecific band.
