Inactivation of mTORC1 reverses caspase-8- and -9-dependent anoikis to regular caspase-8-dependent anoikis irrespective of presence or absence of enforced Cdc6 expression. Proliferating Eker and Eker-Cdc6 cells were cultured in MC (Anc(-)) for 24 h and then for another 24 h with or without the addition of rapamycin (RM), a specific inhibitor of mTORC1.
