(A and B) WT, Tlr2–/–, and Myd88–/– mice were inoculated i.g. with pIB102 and killed 5 days after infection. PPs (A) and spleens (B) were removed, and IL-1β levels were analyzed. (C) PPs from chimeric mice were incubated with pIB102 in UCs. (D and E) BMSCs from WT, Tlr2–/–, and Myd88–/– mice were differentiated into macrophages (D) or DCs (E) and infected with pIB102.
