The structures of BKI-1 and NA-PP2 are shown in A. There was complete suppression of male gametocyte differentiation to exflagellating units for 14 hours in the presence of BKI-1 relative to NA-PP2–treated or untreated controls. Data are representative of 3 experiments. Error bars represent SEM.
