In the ventral forebrain, there was no significant difference (P=0.055, n=3, Student’s t-test, bracket with #) in the percentage of astrocytes that were EGFP+ in Cko and Ctr mice (45±1.7% and 33±8.0%, respectively). No EGFP+ Aldh1L1+ astrocytes were detected in the neocortex or corpus callosum of Ctr mice.
