Changes in folding parameters upon circular permutating IL-1β at various turns and loops. The equilibrium data were fit using MATLAB in order to obtain equilibrium parameters for folding, ΔGN-U. Changes in ΔGN-U (ΔΔGN-U) were obtained using WT as a reference. m-value indicates changes in the accessible surface area upon folding and indicate cooperativity of folding.
Equilibrium transition data were evaluated using a two-state folding model.
Data were obtained by calculating the average wavelength and calculating the relative average wavelength in terms of Fapp as a function of [Gnd-HCl].
Cm values were taken from dividing the ΔGN-U by the m-value.
