High tissue of inhibitor of metalloproteinases-2 (TIMP-2) expression is correlated with prolonged and metastasis-free survival in breast cancer patients. Kaplan-Meier survival plot demonstrated that TIMP-2 expression stratified subjects in two groups with significantly different a metastasis-free survival or b cumulative survival after diagnosis.
