Effect of T3SS treatment on adenosine receptor specific binding. After preincubation with adenosine deaminase in order to remove endogenous adenosine, control and 5 μM T3SS-treated (6 h) SK-N-MC intact cells were incubated with different concentrations of [³H]DPCPX or [³H]ZM241385 to measure specific binding to A₁ (panel A) or A_2A (panel B) receptors. Nonspecific binding was determined in the presence of CPA and theophylline, as stated in the Methods section. Data are mean ± SEM values obtained from n (in brackets) separate experiments carried out in triplicate.
