Diffusion times (τ1 and τ2) obtained from fitting with the equation from the fluorescent correlation curves, their corresponding calculated diffusion coefficients (D1 and D2), and the fluorescence lifetimes for BODIPY and BODIPY-vancomycin in water and in the presence of S. aureus plankton cells were determined. The percentages given in parentheses correspond to the ratio of molecules diffusing with the indicated time.
