Endothelial tube formation was assessed after incubating at 37°C for 18 h, using a light microscope. Three microscopic fields were selected at random and photographed at 200x magnification. B, Tube formation ability was quantified by counting the total number of cell clusters and branching under three fields per well. The results are expressed as mean of branching compared with the control groups. Each experiment was performed at least twice.
