Comparison of latest Cretaceous carbonate cycles from the Southern Hemisphere [Deep Sea Drilling Project Site 516F (DSDP 516F)] and from the Northern Hemisphere (Zumaya, Spain). Similar modulations are seen in both records; note the node of low variability that is correlated to the ≈400-kyr eccentricity modulation of precessional amplitude.
