Effect of Gαi/o subfamily inhibition on GnRH-induced gonadotropin transcription. LβT2 gonadotrope cells were pretreated with either vehicle (control) or 100 ng/ml PTX for 2 h. Cells were then exposed to 1 nm GnRH for 2 h and harvested 4 h later. FSHβ, LHβ, and GnRHR mRNA expression levels were determined by real-time PCR analysis.
