Difference in average alpha power (in μV²) between right and left electrodes, recorded when subjects worked on the high or low power prime. Greater left-sided (compared to right-sided) neural activity was observed for all the frontal electrode pairs. Combining the separate frontal electrodes into arrays over the left and the right hemisphere, respectively, clearly shows a greater left frontal activation for the high power condition compared to the low power condition.
