Composite of: Death from all causes Ventricular fibrillation occurring >48 hours after randomization Cardiogenic shock Congestive heart failure during first 90 days after randomization	Patients with STEMI who presented ≤ 6 hours after the onset of symptoms Eligible for fibrinolytic therapy or primary PCI Estimated time to diagnostic catheterization was 1 to 4 hours after randomization.
