Relative to the controls, the depressed patients showed a significant connectivity increase between the cerebellum and the temporal poles and left middle frontal cortex as well as a significant connectivity decrease between the cerebellum and the default-mode network, mainly including the ventromedial prefrontal cortex and posterior cingulate cortex/precuneus.
