The center cross-hair represents the temperature on the surface above one of the fiber optic probe readings. The other two temperatures show some of the variability in temperatures across the face of the sample. The scale bar on the right indicates the temperature range, from 25-60 °C. Note that the minimum temperature reading, indicated at the top left, was 37.1 °C.
