Shown are the lifespans of Drosophila in the absence of drugs [control (○)]; and in the presence of 240 µM simvastatin (□); 320 µM methoprene (▵); and 320 µM methoprene and 240 µM simvastatin together (▾). The mean lifespan of the simvastatin, methoprene, and simvastatin with methoprene treated flies was significantly increased (P = 0.02, P = 0.0034, and P<0.0001, respectively).
