Statistical analysis of the nuclear optical path length (OPL) from the nuclei of intestinal epithelial cells in the ApcMin mice with regular diet and with sulindac supplement. The progression of nuclear OPL in the histologically normal (i.e., uninvolved) intestinal epithelial cell nuclei significantly slowed down after 4-month of sulindac treatment (P=0.3) compared to the corresponding untreated ApcMin mice (P=1E5). The nuclear OPL from sulindac-treated mice is significantly lower than those untreated ApcMin mice (P=4.7E5). Approximately 50 to 60 cell nuclei were analyzed from each mouse.
