LDL samples were incubated with the indicated concentrations of fatty acid mixture [oleic, linoleic, and arachidonic acid (20:40:10)] for 4 h, and the unbound material was removed by ultracentrifugation in the presence of 1% BSA. Data show higher enrichment of PLA2-LDL samples with unesterified fatty acids. Values are expressed as μmol/mg LDL protein.
