To qualify for this list, the gene needed to be significantly different in the overall analysis and (a) be significantly different in 4 of the line-pairs and have the same direction of change in all 4 line-pairs, or (b) be significantly different in 3 of the line- pairs, have the same direction of change in the 3 line-pairs, not have a significant change in the opposite direction in more than 1 of the remaining 2 line-pairs, and be listed in at least one network identified by Ingenuity Pathway Analysis. ‘Higher’ (or ‘lower’) indicates values were higher (or lower) in the high ethanol consuming rats compared to the low ethanol consuming rats.
