Immunological detection of the DNA-derived radical adduct from the reaction of cellular DNA obtained from RAW cells treated with CuCl2 and H2O2 in the presence of DMPO at 37°C for 1 h. (A) Shows the time course of cell viability. (B) All components of the reaction must be present for adduct formation. (C) The cytosolic and the nuclear fractions of the RAW cells were separated and the total DMPO adducts (both protein and DNA) determined in both fractions.
