Each dialogue clip included 4 simple intransitive sentences containing the novel verb, with 2 proper-name and 2 pronoun subjects, as shown here. The 4 dialogue clips were followed by the novel-verb test item, presented as in Experiment 1 in Transitive, Agent-first, or Patient-first sentences.
