Note.- Difference between widths of ipsilateral symptomatic spinal L5 nerve and those of contralateral spinal L5 nerve are statistically significant in transverse and exit nerve roots (paired t test, p < 0.05). There is no statistically significant difference between widths of ipsilateral L5 nerve and those of contralateral L5 nerve in asymptomatic extraforaminal stenosis (paired t test, p > 0.05).
